Since Protestanism rejects Apostolic Tradition, the reading of Scripture occurs without this preconception.
I'm beginning to understand why there are over 40,000 Christians denominations.
when i began formal study of religion and biblical analysis it was like peeling off layer after layer of dark matter, sticky and putrid that had stuck over my eyes and ears and mouth.
i learned that under the watchtower one only builds a widening gap between yourself and the world of biblical academia and scholars.
i used to think i knew a lot because i learned to quote a few scholars or lexicons as a witness.

it sounds to me like he was a jw before he became a physician.
"kalauawa, who became a jw 31 years ago, said he had to overcome a major conflict between his religious and professional beliefs, because jws are opposed to blood transfusions.
During his residency [medical training] he resolved the dilemma by having other doctors order transfusions.
Once the transfusion was ordered by another doctor, then in clear conscience he could go ahead and insert the needle and start pumping that blood.
"Another pint please"
i keep reading of some guy who is so upset at someone that he goes into a theater and shoots 20 people..
or a kid that is so mad that the other kids made fun of him that he goes to school and shoots a bunch of kids..
or some guy that was fired from his job and he goes back and shoots of bunch of his workers.
Brokeback Watchtower
I will say this about the Governing Body's desire to keep enforcing Disfellowshipping tactics as a form information control is playing with fire
All it takes is one-huh!

"it's hard to grow up with such a foundational system and just let it go.
The writers from Christian Post should learn how to read a NY Times article.
The writer was probably a former Watchtower magazine writer.
a friend at the convention told me that kenneth williams, a co in the houston texas area was recently removed and taken off the road.
does any one have any details?
ToesUp
I don't know anything about it but I do know that there a quite a few that should be removed.
I think they should all be removed.

I can only quote the Wicked Witch of the West:"All in good time, my pretty. All in good time."
Lol, it took a while to get that, I thought it was some type of revelation.
for years i've been screwed with by some very bad people, people satan would kick out of his organization because even the devil might let up on evil just to allow someone to catch their breath.
with the jwism's bad people move up while good people move down or leave the kingdom hall for good.
i was talking with two elders who said "you know if you return to the kingdom hall, jehovah will bless you and these people will stop screwing with you.
Welcome Judas
Don't let your wife drive you to poverty. You need a woman that will work "With You" not against you. You know there are billions of women out there to choose from right? And some real good ones that have the same goals as you.
And wasn't Judas in charge of the money box?

Explain the importance the book of Ecclesiasticus played in Christian history
Caleb, I've never heard of this book playing a role in Christian history. Is it the same book as Ecclesiastes?
